Free Fishing Day at Freeman Park
We had lots of fun and success at Freeman Park on Saturday. In our fishing posse, we had 3 families- a total of 11 people, 7 poles, 10 fish. We came, we fished, we ate - just under 1 1/2 hours!!! (Amanda's kind of fishing trip!)

Race for the Cure

On Saturday, May 8, 2010 we did the Race for the Cure. We had fun! Before we even left Salt Lake City, the kids were asking if we could do it again next year!!! The race was a great way for us to promote living a healthy lifestyle, so we probably WILL do it again next year. We all agree that it feels wonderful to be active. (Now to just lose some extra pounds.)

Dear Family and Friends,
Can you believe another year has gone by? We hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
2009 has been very eventful for our family. In March, Haylee turned 8 and was baptized on her birthday. She received a set of scriptures for her birthday. She loves to help read during Family Scripture Study. Haylee also finished dance in May and decided to try out soccer in the fall. Soccer is now her favorite past time.
Jorgen turned 6 this year and is in the 1st grade. He started soccer in the spring, and now thinks he knows everything there is to know about it. I’m not sure that hugging or summersaults are official moves in soccer, but they are very common when he’s playing. Jorgen is starting to outgrow the train phase and now loves transformers.
Ahlianna turned 4 this year going on 15. She is a little smarty pants(a real fireball)! Ahlianna enjoys singing her ABC’s with their sounds and signs. She loves to learn new things. For several months she has been able to write her first and last name, and all the family’s names and birthdays as well. Ahlianna started soccer this fall. She loves to run up and down the field. She is very entertaining to watch.
We had a new addition to our family in May. She is a bundle of joy and a lot of fun to be with. And because of our new addition we needed a different house. So in July, we put our house up for sale. It was quite a rollercoaster ride until we sold it in November. The weekend before Thanksgiving we moved to our beautiful new home. We absolutely love it! For now the basement is unfinished, so the kids get to ride their bikes every day. Soon we will have a fence and our new addition, Bella, the Siberian husky won’t have to be chained up anymore!
In October, Amanda started to work as a teacher’s aide at A.H. Bush Elementary. She thinks it is awesome to get paid for what she loves to do. She also loves being a soccer mom, but can’t wait for the off season!
Wayne achieved 10 years at Melaleuca. And is feeling really old! It is weird to think it has been that long. Wayne also graduated from Idaho State University in December with a Bachelors in Business Management. Oddly enough this is considered a BS degree.J It only took him 6 ½ years. Wayne looks forward to having more “free time” to work on the house and coach soccer.
We have been very blessed this last year, and we are excited for the future. We hope you have had a great year. May the Lord bless you! We love you!
Love,
Wayne, Amanda, Haylee, Jorgen, Ahlianna, and Bella
P.S. Below are a few pictures of our adventures this past year and our new house!
